Mr. Nieman - Week of 28 Sept

I wanted to be sure and post the following info again as an overview of how I use the MS Homework board. You may have read it a few weeks ago, but if not, here it is again:

Please carefully read the info below. I want to be sure all parents and students understand the nature and purpose of how I use the CTC Homework Board. Each teacher will likely use the board differently and add their own content as they choose.

I will update this blog once a week (either on Thurs or Fri) and include assignments, due dates, and other details for the following week. Similarly, the online grade book (Teacherease) will be updated then as well.

All the classes I teach will be addressed - MS Bible /Christian Ed, 7th Life Science and 8th US History. PE, Chapel, Garden info, etc... will not be mentioned on this blog.

I will not revise or alter this board once published. I will try to forecast as best I can what will be due and when for the week ahead as well as into the following week. At times, changes in class will be made - a quiz may be rescheduled - and those changes will be made orally in class. I will always try to give students more time by pushing an assignment back if a change needs to be made.

HW indicates homework.
WKSHT indicates a worksheet given in class. Quizzes, tests, and other assignments will be labeled as such.
A "check mark" indicates the assignment was completed satisfactorily.

The dates you see are the due dates. I may give an assignment the previous day or even a few days in advance. Again, the dates you see listed are always the due date, not the date the assignment was issued. Also, the dates you see will usually match the dates you see listed on the on-line grade book.

Feel free to email me if you have questions. Thanks!

Dave Nieman
