Nieman - Week of 30 Nov

MS Bible / Christian Edu

6th - We've finished our overview of Christianity and will begin the gospel of Matthew this week.

7th - This week we'll begin watching a film on Liberia

8th - Still doing a lot of work with Ladle and the folks at Westminster Manor.


7th Life Science

Students are well underway with their Science Fair projects. There are a lot of components to this project...please stay on top of due dates. Work ahead. Do things a few times to get them perfect. Ask questions. Don't fall behind.

I'm real proud of the students' selections! The fair will be great this year!

Assignments:

Wed 2 Dec - finalized proposal due

On Wed 2 Dec or Thurs 3 Dec, please take your daughter to a local library for half an hour at least. On Friday, 4 Dec, the students will need to have a book that they got from a library in class for our research day.

*Please be sure your daughter has a good stack of 3x5" note cards, too!

PLAN ON DOING YOUR EXPERIMENTS OVER CHRISTMAS BREAK. THINK ABOUT YOUR TRAVEL PLANS AND WHEN AND HOW YOU WILL HAVE THE EXPERIMENT FINISHED BY MONDAY 4 JAN.


8TH US History

This week we'll begin our State Student Teaching assignment. Students had today (Mon 30 Nov) to work in class, but must continue to prepare for their teaching assignment as homework. The teaching schedule is:

Thurs 3 Dec - Daniel and Alex
Fri 4 Dec - Bryan and Ori
Mon 7 Dec - Eli and Danae
Tues 8 Dec - Jasmine and Sam
