6th graders will begin a unit on Study Skills Thursday, February 11. This unit is taught by Mrs. Henzel and will be the supplementary curriculum course for the 3rd quarter. Very little homework will be assigned in this unit, BUT, it's very important that you complete the homework when it is assigned! Students will be evaluating their current study skills and improving on them for the future.

Class Topic: Study Skills brainstorming, Self-Confidence, Self-worth and Success
Homework (due Tuesday, February 23...no class during the week of February 16 due to special events):
1) Have a parent complete the back side of your Study Skills Evaluation sheet. Bring to class on Thursday.
2) If you don't have on already, make sure you have a section in your binder labeled "Supplementary Curriculum"
3) Bring in magazines that can be cut up for Tuesday's class. These can be stored in Mrs. Decker's class if they are brought in ahead of time.
