7TH LIFE SCIENCE
I've delayed the quiz due to some schedule changes here at school. We're right on track, however, with classification. We'll wrap this chapter up this week with a quiz and then begin Ch 11 - Plants.
For Ch 11, students will have to bring in a few common household items for out build a plant lab...more about this later...

Mon 12 Apr - Ch wrap up and begin review Q's (p. 242-243).
Wed 14 Apr - Ch 10 Classification QUIZ
Thurs 15 Apr - Ch 11 Directed Reading Part I due in class.
8TH US HISTORY
We've begun the film Amazing Grace about W. Wilberforce and the abolitionist movement. Really a great movie...get it in your Netflix que...

Tues 13 Apr - No class due to testing schedule.
Wed 14 Apr - Continuing/Concluding Amazing Grace (if needed); Peer review of papers, DBQ's and slavery/map review.
Thurs 15 Apr - Wrap up Review & Discussion of slavery; journal entry (if not done previously) Brief Slavery Reading and Map QUIZ.
Next week we'll begin Ch 10 and get up to speed on our DC Trip. Plan on doing some shopping for the trip this weekend or next.
