6TH - We'll wrap up Acts in the next week. Some important dates for you to know:
Acts test on Mon 7 June.
Parents invited to our Art Gallery Walk on Thurs 17 June. More info about this will go to students in the weeks ahead. Please join us for this event - 11:40-12:35.
7TH - Continuing through Revelation.
8TH - Lots going on. A year-end schedule was given to students yesterday. Please remind your son/daughter to follow through with their commitments and to finish strong.
7TH LIFE SCIENCE
We'll have finished up our two-week food & nutrition unit by this week. Great conversations have resulted from all this information. Thanks to you - parents - for participating, too! Body Organization and Systems (ch's 13& 14) are next (and last!).
Tues 1 June - Ch 13 introduction / DR packet assigned.
Wed 2 - Thurs 3 June - Notes and lecture on ch 13
Fri 4 June - Ch 13 DR packet due in class.
8TH US HISTORY
We're well into the Civil War this week. This is the last unit/subject of the year - combined Ch's 12 and 13.
Be sure you continue to study your map (given in class) for the map quiz this week. Refer also to Textbook p. 558.

Wed 2 - Thurs 3 June - Notes/Lecture on ch 12 / US Civil War
Opinion Paper assigned - Union or Confederacy? (refer to p. 560-561)
Fri 4 June - Map quiz...and make-up 50 current US map quiz (if you did not get 100% the first time).
