I'm inviting you to our Gallery Walk - students will display individual art projects based on a scripture they have choses about their identity in Christ. More about this in the weeks ahead...stay tuned.
7th - We've begun The Revelation of Jesus Christ...hold on!!!
8th - Wrapping up our Ladle and Westminster Manor work...be diligent with your portfolio work!
7TH LIFE SCIENCE
FANTASTIC job on all your Food Lab assignments. I'm hearing such great things from all of you about what you are doing, discussing, and learning. Really great to hear. I know....I know....some of the topics and ideas are disgusting...some radical or controversial...develop your critical thinking to explore the concepts and seek the truth.
The only assignment due this week is: Web Site Write Up - Due Tues 25 May. This is the last preassigned work due; we will discuss, debrief, journal, play a few rounds of Nutrition Bingo, and have a "Personal Thoughts" quiz on Fri 28. You cannot study for this quiz; just tell me what you already know!
Ch 19 Body Systems begins the following week.
8TH US HISTORY
We'll have wrapped up the Multi-Cultural Fair on Thurs 20 May and next week shift back to the text material and the events leading to the US Civil War.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Be sure you are staying up with your Lincoln book reading...we will briefly review the book and major themes and events early this week.
Wed 26 May - Lincoln Book TEST. This test includes all the content in section 3 (refer to your reading guide)
Thurs 27 &
Fri 28 May - Notes and lecture on the last part of Ch 12. Be sure you are always talking good, legible notes in class.
